Only 70,000 or 700,000 will enter Paradise?

Re: Only 70,000 or 700,000 will enter Paradise?

Major problem is the Arabization which shouldn't be considered, say, mandatory... Allah is not a proper name but means "The God" ... al-Quran il-Majeed is not a proper name but means "The Magnificent Reading" ... Jibra'El may also not be a proper name but means "Jabr/Action/Impulse/Wave of El/God" ... Isma'El means he who heard El/God ... Isra'El means he who journeyed to El/God ... The last three words are not even Arabic but have been derived through Phoenician/Cannanite mixed with the Babilonian name of God, which is El ... Ilah/Alaha/Eloh are its semitic counterparts.

Another point is the word YHWH (He Who Is) ... this word comes from the root HYY based on God's dialogue with Moses, when He said "IHYYAA ESHAR IHYYAA" (I am who I am) ... Ever read Hu al-HaYY ul-Qayyoom in aayatul kursi?

In addition, many Arabic word themselves are borrowed, not only from Syriac, Hebrew and Sabaic, but also from Greek.

Arabic was itself a commoner/spoken language and not a religious language. There is not a shred of evidence of Arabic being used for religious matters in pre-Islamic Arabia; rather, Nabataean, Syriac, Sabaic/Safaitic, Hebrew and Greek were used for their respective religions.

That is the miracle of the Quran (إنا أنزلنه قرءنا عربيا لعلكم تعقلون) that it was the first of its kind in a lanugage that was not religious or literary but a commoner's language. COMMONERS COULD HENCE UNDERSTAND GOD's MESSAGE IN THEIR OWN NATIVE SPOKEN LANGUAGE AND DID NOT NEED THE CLERGY TO TRANSLATE/INTERPRET IT FOR THEM, AND STARTED TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!! (this bit is IMPORTANT and every bit essential to get over this Arabesque syndrome of today since it is no different than the Nabataean syndrome of the pre-Islamic pagans.)

Calling God out in Arabic does not make that word holier than calling Him out in Mandarin, Russian, English or even Vulcan (this last one for the trekies here)

Just trying to make a point and I don't give a slight bit of anything for any traditionalist who tries to argue over it.

PS for Croquet: Hindus believe in Brahman (Supreme/Timeless/Transcendant) and his various manifestations/incarnations ... it is paganistic, seems to have started out as monotheistic (i.e. a variation of Zoroastrianism), but a varied concept of God developed through its different SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT and mixing up with various regional folk tales and mythology ...

Hindus believe in the supreme one Brahman.. the 3 faces (functions?) of which are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva (the three main gods you're referring to)
