real shopping beats on line shopping for clothes, makeup and shoes anyday.

Specially for makeup as the color depicted online shows up really diff on asian skins or atleast mine. Books and other generic stuff its better to purchase online.

Being in Bahrain, you don't really shop online, unless you order stuff from the US, UK or other countries.

But still to see and feel the product is something else.

I love receiving packages. It’s like you’re buying yourself a present. :blush:.

It’s true that sometimes you have to return some items, but the possibilities are endless online for almost everything. Now day’s my favorite thing to shop for online is make-up.

Nothing beats real shopping.

Don't we all love to drag ourselves from shop to shop for infinite hours.. bargaining and arguing with shaap keeper uncles? :@:

I used to go out alone in Saudi Arabia to shop in between prayer times in Madinah...and bargaining was such a hassle I never had done it before but I learned very quickly in their culture you never pay full price not even at the malls unless the price was "fixed".......I still remember the conversations they referred to me as "zanani Pakistani"because of my cotton dresses or "habibi", but I never really bought much was just a browser. Some stuff was just too expensive.

I enjoy both equally.

I don't like doing grocery shopping in person though....it's such a waste of time.

depends on the item.
online is simpler to do comparison shopping for a standard item like electronics
also if there is a particular type of thing u are looking for, u can go through many places quickly
for clothing, of course trying it and feeling the fabric is important, although so many places now offer free shipping for order and returns that u can order, try it at home and ship it back if not happy.

Their CEO is the darling of the business world since Steve Jobs' passing, and online retail is going to continue to grow but I have read reports that their valuation is currently too high. I don't think they will be disappearing anytime soon, given their stranglehold on online shopping, but people might be drinking a little too much of the Amazon kool-aid.

I prefer ordering online ...can get whatever I want from where ever I want. Payment is convenient as well. Alternatively going to fixed price shops is easy.
