This is something that I have been meaning to do for a while!
A few facts about me first!
- I am an independent film producer
- I am a great believer in human rights
- I am dead against poverty!
- I accept all nationalities and religions and cultures and embrace/take positive aspects of all different cultures/religions to incorporate into my life
- I am determind to stand up for the rights of those who are not able to themselves
- I used to watch Bollywood movies with a passion. now feel shameful watching one.

So this post is a protest/petition/lobby against the BOLLYWOOD film industry:
It is amazing how people in India - and by that, I mean Bollywood celebs and the ‘rich’ people of the indian societies think only about themselves and money.
I think that in places like India and other South Asian countries the people assume the ‘quality’ of people, (if that is the right term) - by how much money they have. I personally think that this mentality is sick - we are all children of god, no matter how much money people have, we are all made from the same creater and we as human beings have no right whatsoever in categorising people according to their profession, wealth or whatever else.
We are all equal. What have these Indian ‘high society’ people actually done for their poor people - can you imagine someone like Aishwarya Rai doing what Angelina Jolie does for Charity? I don’t think so. People seem to think that it is the western world’s responsibility to support the poorer countries of the world and that citizens of western countries should always lend a hand to the “third world.” What about these “third world’s” own riches - people like Bollywood celebs? Dont they have the responsibility to make the poorer communities around them richer or offer help with poor children and those in need? Indians these days - especially the ‘higher class’ indians only converse amongst one another in English - whats that all about? To me it seems like they are ashamed of their own heritage, language and culture
These people use western culture and language and way of life as showing off their wealth and status.
These people should feel ashamed of themselves - including Aishwarya Rai.
Beauty comes from within, not what you see outside. **Even Britney Spears has a childrens charity. People always talk about Americans and how bad they are - they should look deeper - you count how many Hollywood stars actively contribute or do something for charity and count those Bollywood people who contribute to charity, then you’ll get the picture. **
Apparently Aishwarya Rai has her own Foundation - you google that and you only get slight mentions of this “Foundation” - not much about the kind of work it does! Instead, the conversations goes on to blab about how beautiful she is. Thank god for that - not her.
Google “Britney Spears Charity” and all you get are hits to articles that contain info on whats kind of things Britney has done for charity - she even sold her urine for charity!!
Angelina Jolie doesnt even need a mention. She lives and breaths charity and helping those disadvantaged.
Imran Khan is someone that ALL PAKISTANIS SHOULD BE PROUD OF…He is an activist in helping those at a less advantage then himself
These Bollywood stars do nothing but dance around trees half naked, shaming their own culture to look like a “cool dude American”(Americans dont actually do that!) These Indian actresses look more like porn stars - shame on them!
When an Indian person becomes rich, they dont look to help develop their own country or economy, instead they go to UK/America/Canada. INDIA IS BECOMING A WORLD ECONOMY PARTIALLY BECAUSE OF WESTERN COMPANIES INVESTING IN IT! Think Mcdonalds, Starbucks… every other American chain store. THEY EMPLOY INDIANS AT MORE THEN AVERAGE WAGES IN COMPARISON TO LOCAL CONDITIONS AND THIS IS WHAT MAKES THE COUNTRY PROSPER. Think about offshore call centers…
**The Bollywood film industry markets to the poor populations of India - India’s poor provide the film industry with their bread and butter and this industry WIDENS THE GAP BETWEEN THE RICH AND THE POOR!!!
A small poor Indian child who lives in a slum most probably STEALS money to watch the next biggest blockbuster!!!** Why? So that he can escape into a “dream” world through a movie and imagine what life would be like if he were rich…the only people who are able to live life like that in India are the Bollywood celebs themselves, whilst the poor child is deprived of bread for one day, as he spent his daily allowance on a movie ticket.
This world portrayed through Bollywood movies does not exist neither in America, UK or Canada. None of us dance around trees in high heels and Prada/Gucci/designer outfits or anything remotely similar to that! Those who live in the west actually work very hard and NO… none of the roads are paved in gold!
BOLLYWOOD IS MODERN DAY PROPAGANDA aimed at India’s poor!! This needs to stop. They need to stop forgetting their language/cultures/traditions/ and re-coup their shame, because none of them have any anymore. I am NOT against Bollywood film industry, I am against its actions.
