Has anyone or know somebody who studied throughAcademy of Art University: The Art School of Art Schools.?? I am planning to study fashion(online learning) through this university. Is it worth it?

I haven't heard about it, but I don't know if it is the same as the Art Institutes that are in so many cities here in USA.
What it seems like is an online University. I would not personally go for an Online Degree and esp for something like the Arts...reason being that for such subjects you need a more Hands on approach...the studio hours with An experienced Instructor are a must. I have taken a few online courses but that from a University that I currently go to. Believe me they donot come close to the class learning(for me at least)
I dont know much about your situation but your place says you are in UAE. Are you planning to come to the USA or wanting to take courses there? There are online courses from Proper Universities here in the US. They are the distance learning departments.
One thing is for sure please dont get suckered into these mass advertised Online ...supposedly Universities that are usually high in Tuition and less in delivering what is offered.
Its not an online university, it is situated in San Francisco i think.. It is a proper university which provides online classes as well. It mostly depends on what it is exactly that you are interested in studying. Google this phrase “distance learning from US State Universities”…and you will see so many choices.
Another thing is that you can get course credits for the basic upto 2 years of courses by taking CLEP.(You have to take it in their approved locations.

Let me know what Major you are planning to pursue and I can try finding a University.
Do you want to have online/distance learning only or would you be able to take courses here.I know some universities do have courses or affiliations in other countries.

I would like to syudy through distance learning/online only. It doesnt have to be only U.S. I am really looking into fashion design/merchandising at the moment.
