Online shopping traumas!!!

Has anyone ordered from trusteddealer.com? So I was looking to buy a camera and I was referred to this site by some digital cameras website and I went ahead and ordered. The salesman I spoke to assured me that my camera would get to me by Monday (today) when I asked him if I should expedite my order, he said no, my manager said you will have it by Monday. So basically I called them everyday since then and this one black girl would pick up the phone and was so RUDE! One time I called and I said, The customer service you have is not good at all. I call and I have to wait for hours for anyone to pick up! She goes, Well you’re not the only customer. I asked to speak to a manager and she rudely said, I AM. Then today when I was supposedly gonna get the camera, I called them and she says, you will get it in two weeks.. I was like WHAT? She kept interrupting me and saying, you chose ground shipping, you can blame yourself and hung up. So I called back and some other guy picks up and goes, we dont have it in stock so it’s not even been shipped out. I was like !!! They have already taken the money out of my account and now I just don’t know what to do. I have called them constantly and the guy said, it will be credited back in 24-48 hours but I just dont trust them. Is there a way to report a site for fraud or something that you guys might know of ? :frowning:

Re: Online shopping traumas!!!

Ugh that sucks :frowning:
Thats why i NEVER buy online!

This kinda reminds me fo when I took my camera to the SONY store for repair..i was in the warranty but they kept it for like 2 weeks before htey would give it back, after lots and lots of bullsh*t (the store didnt fax us this, we’ve shipped it, we don thave it etc), i finally got it back…only to find out it wasn’t even fixed!!! :smack:

Re: Online shopping traumas!!!

sara, i have never had any problem.. i always order from sephora, mac, vs, etc etc. i am just so frustrated at these idiots who dont even have the courtesy to talk nicely to their customers. ughghhg.

Re: Online shopping traumas!!!

Ask you CC company, they will take care of it, I have been involved in few online frauds, but now days I only shop from the popular sites and do read the reviews before ordering from non-popular sites.

Re: Online shopping traumas!!!

^ yup..was gonna suggest that too.

call your credit card company and if the charge for the camera has been posted to your account, you can go ahead and dispute it with them.

they'll be able to call up the company on your behalf and find out what's happening with your order. if you ask them to cancel it, they'll be able to credit your account, as long as they have proof that the company is not providing you with what you wanted.
