stoooopid Irrum......cant blv Ali being a good mulim would even marry her in the first place......adultry and affairs before marriage....are NOT ALLOWED.....he should have known that but i guess he was in LOVE with her........surprisingly nuf...its set in in the early 90's........pretty old but cant blv still a modern muslim soman was so open about her sexuality....
thought wen she starts working in an islamic school, she'll change her ways but she didnt.....did she?.....i can undestand she din wanted his parents to live with them..........its HIS duty to keep his wife happy, buy them another house next door, so she can repsect his parents and keep him happy too....

One moral of the story that every guy should know. It's a son's duty to take care of his parents but not at the cost of his wife and children.
I have concluded more than a dozen morals of this story that I will put at the end.

He also had a girlfriend he was stringing along, and he slept with Irrum under false pretenses. It's a bit unfair to characterize him as the saint and her as the whore.

In the evening, Ali was really sad and had already started missing his wife and daughter. He did not know what to do and was going crazy. He did not even know where his wife had moved. She had only mentioned that she was renting a room nearby where one of her friend was also renting a room. Ali had a little idea about the area but did not know the exact location. At night he went out to look for Irrum’s car in that area. He was able to spot her car with only a little effort. He felt some comfort just by looking at the car. He wrote a small note about how much he was missing them and left it on the car. Next day when Irrum looked at the note she called Ali and told him to stop following her. She told him that she did not want him to come after her at all as she felt being stalked. Ali asked her about their daughter and expressed his desire to see her. Irrum told him that he could keep his daughter over the weekend. Ironically on the very same weekend, it was Ayesha's fifth birthday. Ali had previously planned to celebrate her birthday at the Disneyland resort in Los Angeles. Irrum told him that he could take his daughter Ayesha to Disneyland by himself. Ali pleaded her to come along just for Ayesha’s happiness but Irrum refused to come along.
Ali took Ayesha to Disneyland by himself. Ayesha was very excited to celebrate her birthday at Minnie’s Kitchen but she could not understand why her mother could not come there. Ali took Ayesha to California Adventure one day and Disneyland the other day. He was being Ayesha’s buddy and enjoyed all the rides with her. He made sure that she had the best time on her birthday. They had a breakfast at Minnie’s Kitchen in the morning and met all the character’s there. Ayesha had really good time at the Disneyland and enjoyed her dad’s company for the first time alone for three days and two nights. Irrum never called them even once during these three days.
Irrum had an Indian girlfriend who was supporting her on all her decisions. Ali talked to this friend and asked her to mediate between them. This friend Roopa told him that Irrum was doing it all on her own and there wasn’t anything that she could do about it. Ali had also told Irrum to take whatever money she needed from their joint account and he was not planning to remove her from their account. He seemed to be really miserable since Irrum had left the house. Irrum told Ali that he could keep their daughter on every weekend. One evening while Ali had Ayesha with him, he received a call from Roopa who asked him if he knew where Irrum was. Ali told her that he did not have any clue where she could be and asked her why she was asking him about Irrum. Roopa then told Ali how Irrum was gone out for two days and had not returned her home. Roopa was actually crying and told Ali that Irrum went out two days ago and had only told her that she was going to go out with friends for lunch and this was the second night since she had not returned home. Her other friend who was renting a room in the same house was also on the conference call and was equally worried about her. Roopa was concerned, as this was the week after nine eleven in 2001. Ali somehow was calm as he had known Irrum well and assumed that she would have gone out with someone. While Roopa was still on phone with Ali, Irrum walked in and Roopa started yelling at her. Ali hanged up the phone with the curiosity in his head about where Irrum would have gone
The very next week, it was Irrum’s birthday. Ali bought a diamond necklace and gave it to Irrum but she refused to accept it. Ali then gave it to his daughter and asked her to present that to her mom as a birthday gift. She accepted that present from her daughter. Ali was feeling very down and depressed. He wanted Irrum to come back home. He even offered her that he could move his parents into a separate house if she could come back. Irrum did not even want to talk to Ali on the topic of reconciliation. Ali got some hints that Irrum was going to fly to Los Angeles on the coming weekend. Ali checked Irrum’s common email account that she shared with him and found an email from Southwest airline about the itinerary of Irrum’s trip to Los Angeles. Ali was very curious to find out whom Irrum was going to go meet. Ali also booked his flight on the same day to reach LAX airport a couple of hours before Irrum. Irrum asked Ali if he could keep Ayesha for three nights while she had to go out on some school trip. Ali accepted that and told her not to worry. The day Irrum had to travel, she dropped Ayesha with his parents, as he was already gone. His daughter was to be taken care by his parents at home. Ali arrived at LAX airport and started waiting nervously for Irrum near the gate she was supposed to be arriving at.
Southwest airline's flight arrived and passengers started to come out of the plane. Ali was hiding in a corner but watching every passenger as they were coming out. To make Ali’s heart pump faster, Irrum came out wearing one of her sexiest outfit. She went straight to a payphone and started dialing some numbers. Ali was recording all this on his digital camcorder. After the call Irrum walked outside the airport. Ali was following her while keeping a decent distance. She restlessly started to walk back and forth in the passenger pickup area. Ali was also watching her from behind a big pillar while he was extremely nervous. She was walking back and forth and during one longer run, she saw Ali. Instead of feeling any shame she started yelling at him and wanted to know what was he doing there. Ali replied that he wanted to bring his wife home. She told him that she was no longer his wife and also told him that she was going to meet Imran, Ali’s psychologist friend. She then hopped in a cab and just left from there rushingly. Ali once again all heart broken was waiting for his return flight t hat was six hours later. He did not want to go outside the airport. He called Irrum’s mom while he was waiting at the airport and told her about the situation. Irrum’s mom was very sympathetic to Ali but was totally helpless herself. She told Ali to be brave and go home straight without thinking much about Irrum. Ali spent six hours at the airport in such a pain while sitting being nervous around armed national guards walking all over the airport.

may be jaadugar made a mistake with the name........their daughter is called Ayesha.......but if he wants to change it to Sarah thats fine with us readers....:p

Yes, I made mistake in Ali's daughter's name. I had forgotten if I had called her Ayesha before. I have changed it to Ayesha now.
Another point I would like to make clear is that Imran (the psychologist) had moved from Oregon to LA during past few months. He had called Ali to let him know and that is when he ended up talking to Irrum on the phone. And that's how things started between them.
