Nop, i wouldn't take them as much seriously as compared to a person who I meet face to face with. Its nothing nasty but I would'nt trust anyone online as much.

I think there is nothing wrong with having online friends. especially these days when u meet someone in college then u take seperate ways and one is working in one country and other one in other country

What I would like about making friends online is getting to know different people's cultures and lifestyles in different countries. I love how everyone is kind of similar and yet so different.
As Decent6Chora said its easy to make such friends and also to let them go. So its never a good idea to get too personal.

well i dont really think its a bad things, but to be honest you cannot trust everyone cuz you dunno who that is behind the computer screen, i am sure a lot of guppies that i interact with here have seen my pic and regularly (now) see my posts but still there is this doubt cuz “all they know i might be some sorta psycho or serial killer” lol

You meet people through various mediums who you later befriend, should you choose to. The list of mediums increases as we traverse through our stay on this rock.

I think u find some real weirdos online. Its vital to be really careful of who you get close to. It would be a long journey, for me to trust someone enough to actually make them a friend. In the mean time there's no harm in exchanging pleasantries, Unless the person gets mega annoying

to me frnds are frnds ... and i kno you meet all sorts of people online and whn i find someone who i think is relaly nice and worth being a frnd then i am a frnd to them and there are two ppl on GS who i have that sort of understanding with and both of them have my number in case something happens and they can contact me and i'll be there for them like i'm there for my other buddies
