Online relationships

Re: Online relationships

I think its fine. I think most healthy people do not, though.

Its not exactly good that things are moving more to an internet interface. You lose that face-to-face contact with people.

At least here, people are becoming more and more reclusive, especially with these blackberries and iphones. Even when you're walking around, or out and about, people have their noses into their phones surfing the net or responding to emails or texting, that they dont even look up and talk to people.

It's really beginning to make people less and less interactive with one another and that means people behave more and more crappy with one another.

Sometimes you meet good people online, sometimes you do not. It gets really hard to learn about a person's character. In real life, at least you can find out about that person's reputation and learn about the kind of people they socialize with. You can't even see that online. So you could be talking to a crazy person and have no clue.
