they work in some instances and in others they might not..
a friend of mine met a guy through shaadi.com.. they hit it off right away.. talking/texting/emailing.. but face to face there was NO CHEMISTRY and they both thought that it was pointless to move forward..
my interaction with my husband was online for the first few times we talked.. we didnt really have any expectations from each other but once our families came face to face we knew that it wud work out and we got married 5 mnths later..
some people still consider it a laughable matter but i think once u get out there ur chances of finding serious people who are ready to get into a relationship/ committment are much higher than before..
