Moona, lemme decipher the male response for you. He is basically trying to dump the girl. He does not want to take the relationship any further. He knows that the girl likes him, so he is trying to be gentle about the break-up process. It is advisable for the girl to forget him and move on. Else, she will only end up getting hurt more.
moona, it takes two to tango. You shouldn't ONLY blame the guy in a relationship. I am sure the girl also is a partner in crime.

Well, Moona. This situation does sound odd to me also. However, are you sure there was no other reason as to why this gentleman didn't want to talk on the phone too often at that point in the relationship? Maybe he didn't want to get too attached due to certain other factors going on. It seems you're not being fair to this person, and jumping the gun on your assumptions.

I agree with FG, he is trying to dump her.. or already has a chick in real life and doesnt want to get caught with his online flirting.. 
Quite a few of my online friends have met others from online. I can tell you though that the relationship/friendship didnt start off in that manner. They would speak to eachother whenever possible. Best to ask him to clarify the situation, if you want it clarified. Tell him how you are thinking, as opposed to playing the waiting game. Just my opinion.
