What’s the best site to store pics online and share with family/friends? Something that allows online print/frame + shipping services without much ads etc and offers lots of storage. Yahoo photos doesn’t have good previews/interface I think.

Anyway, smugmug.com and SnapFish also got a :k: from PCMagazine this month. Though I haven’t used them personally.

For online storage, I use Webshots, and I think thats 20 bucks/yr well spent, simply because of their user interface. While Yahoo SBC provides me with unlimited storage, you are right that their user interface sucks, plus they degrade pic quality severely.
For online printing, I tried Yahoo Photos, Webshots, shutterfly and Kodak. Didn't like any of them from a quality standpoint. The one which I prefer to use now is Walgreens. Its $0.19 per 4x6, I upload from my home computer and pick it up from my nearest Walgreen in 2 hours and the quality of prints is awesome. They can ship to your address as well, for an additional charge.

myfamily.com is a stie you can use to share pics with family…it’s only the people you add to the account that can see the pics. it’s good :k: not that much of a storage site as it is a sharing site..

Ok, I checked out kodak gallary but they reduce the size of photos and resolution and it's not very good for online viewing. My primary purpose is online viewing.
I tried flickr.com and they are great. Pretty much everything I want but they suck at invitations. Your friends and family have to join them to see your photos. I don't want that. I want to be able to invite people without them being the member of the site and have them view the photos.
Now which one is best given my particular need?

they have unlimited bandwidth for users which is great.. u can even host full res photos without worries of exceeding your bandwidth.. $23/yr for 300MB storage should be enough for family photos..

hmmm... so far the flickr is best in viewing quality. Shutterfly is next.
PA, that p-friccking-base thingie is like rocket science. You've to friggin'g fill out a questionair of check boxes and drop downs to select to what you want to do with an image. man! whos' got the frcing time?
snapfish sucks too. that mug thingie asks for money right off the bat. If flicker was not yahoo email dependent I'd have spent that money in a single breath. At least you're getting good quality and easy tools for your money.
