Pakistani Media has filed an online petition against biased/sub standard umpiring by Mr. David Shepard during the Videocon cup final between Pakistan and Australia. Now is the time to stand up and show our solidarity. Please sign the petition from the link given below, InshAllah when we have a sizeable number of signature we will forward this petition to the ICC. We would like to request everyone to help us out in this matter. Now is the time to be counted.
Lay off of Shep. I know we were hard done by his poor judgment the other day but that's cricket. Where the hell were you all a few years back when Pakistan won the Test match at Old Trafford in Manchester. It was Shep who ignored a dozen or so NO BALLS and one of those got us a crucial wicket too.
Can't be pick n choose in such matters. There are plenty of other bad umpires in ICC...where's the petition for them?. Asoka DeSilva and another Sri Lankan umpire I can't think the name of... also Jayaprakash from India... all those guys are way worse than Shep.

Everything has an "expiration" date, right?
what ever we come up with won't make a ounce of difference. as far as the icc are concerned, sheps' is still a elite member of the icc panel of umpires and that's that. so quit hovering over silly petitions and move on.

well.. i dont knwo who we played at that time.. if that was the case then they should have done it...did we stop them or what.... if they couldnt file a case against that umpire.. is that really our fault...
indian thinks that bucknor always support pakistanis over them... well i remem they also complained against them??? if everyone is doing these days why cant we do it as well? shephard hasnt done to us for the first time... i have seen him poor umpiring in other matches as well..

Well if you want fair play in cricket, you should also point out certain problems too. From what I mean is, if team A and B are playing, and team B loses because that umpire was giving wrong decisions. Then you should put up a petition for it too, just incase you get that umpire next time.
Do you think the Pakistani media was all against Shep when they won the 2nd test against England in Old Trafford. May 31 to June 4, 2001. Pakistan's won by getting 4 of the last 5 wickets thru no balls.
I think Shep is old now too. He has been old for many years and needs to retire. Am I going bananas over the wrong decisions in the game? No.. because Pakistan should have been mentally prepared for his mistakes.
