you mean you want to start writing in Pakistan ? Its very possible. I used to do it when I was there for four years. Do you have any written articles already? if not , then choose a subject and write someone on it . Make a small collection and then if there are any magazines in your area around , get in touch with the editorials there and tell them that you are interested in formal writing for them. They will ask you for some portfolio and that is when you present to them your creative ideas and essays.
If they like it , you will get selected and you will start earning.
you can also reach the local newspapers but they are a bit tough on new comers. Key thing is to select a area of interest and start writing stuff on it .
Try writing for Women's Own magazine, dawn, express Tribune etc. For Women's Own just send an unsolicited script at first. At least that's what I did or talk to an editor or something. They don't pay well though to freelancers. Rs.1000 or Rs 2000 per article.
Why do u want to write for a pakistani publication? Why not look for freelance assignments from British publications that cover pakistan, or cover other topics of interest. I think as long as you have a journalism background or subject matter expertise in intended topics, you may find good opportunities. They may pay better too.
