Re: Online gift shop..

are we talking about gift shops for sending gifts to Pak? or something else? - if it is to send gifts to Pakistan, then I've only ever sent flowers / cakes / mithayi / gift cards for meals at upscale hotels etc.

For gifts to other places, I've sent flowers / books / gift cards for various online sites / colognes/perfumes / assorted gift baskets etc.

Re: Online gift shop..

Thanks LC .. thats certainly very helpful :hugz:

Re: Online gift shop..

I have not find many personalised gifting services here in the UK. Everything seems run of the mill and it would be nice for customisation/personalisation or limited in what choices are on offer. For example standard/unexciting bunches of flowers, chocolates and photo frames. It would be nice if someone added a personalised element to it. Oh and not charge an arm and a leg to do so. Some of these online gift shops are such a rip off.

Re: Online gift shop..

I like to see selection by price ..

the personalization aspect is definitely very important... and so is professionalism. Both these happen to be major weaknesses of Pakistani online gift shops. I had once sent a cake to Pakistan and selected a card to go along with it. Unfortunately, the card I had selected was probably out of stock and the gift shop operators took the liberty to replace it with something else which wasn't entirely appropriate for the occasion that I was sending the gift for. No one even bothered to inform me or inquire from me about the replacement. I found out about it later from another person and was somewhat embarrassed at the card that had really been sent out. Needless to say, I haven't used that online service since.

Re: Online gift shop..

LC , that happened with me too … thats why I try to avoid sending gifts online to pakistan.

Dildi, I know exactly what you mean , I love personalized gifts .. and they just the usual standard stuff , very hard to find good quality wallets /purses etc … with quality engraving and good prices :hinna: …

Dildi , How much do you think you would happily pay for a leather wallet with embossed or engraved personal name in Gold or Silver ink?

I am asking everyone this same question !:hinna: so dont be alarmed !

hey could anyone mention some reliable gift site for pak??

something you/someone else have tried & were happy with results
