Maybe this thread belongs in C&A but who really goes there right?? So my question is whats the deal with onlien courses. When lookin for employment, do employers even consider people with degrees from online courses? I dont wanna waste my time waiting for spring semester so i have decided to take a few classes online?? Has anyoen taken any and if yes, rants/raves??
depends on the degree...many top flight business schools have online programs...fully accredited catered to busy professionals who do not want to take the time off from work even for EMBA's. Duke, NYU, etc offer these..among others..
well i don't know about online courses but i know this girl near where i live who is obtaining a degree with The Open Universitty, apparently they send all your work home to you and they offer diplomas and other short courses too. She told me she had some tutor or something and she e-mails her work. Maybe you could try their website?
Thankyou.
I was planning on taking 2-3 courses (maybe a few more but not a diploma if possible) from Human Manahment services at the Pheonix Univiersiity.
Deviliciouss the biggest misconceptions about online classes are that people assume they are easy...infact i would say they are actually harder than going to an on-campus class. I had taken three online courses and wouldn't do it again... i guess it depends on what type of person you are... i would rather be in class and have live participation...
