Online buying...

How many of you are comfortable with buying stuff online?. What are the kinds of things you usually buy online? And is there a limit to how much you would spend on buying things online?. And What is your criteria of trusting a company with your online oders?.

I need your feedback because i am thinking of launching my label online and having online sales. However, i am not too sure if alot of people are comfortable trusting new names online. I know for myself i have never bought things online except a ticket for a cricket match :P. So i need alot of views, suggestions and feedback from you guys.

Thank you…

its good n very convenient.. with delivery at home.. :)

Re: Online buying...

I have been buying stuff online since 1998. Some items I bought include books, electronic accessories, seeds and plants. gadgets , software, computers , mobile phones.
A better way of getting some reputation will be to post your stuff on ebay , yahoo , amazon and direct buyers from there to your own website. That way you can generate some positive feedback and generate traffic to you site.

Re: Online buying...

people dont have any problem buying online .. its safe, with credit card consumer protections that are available, very little are paranoid about using credit card.

Its not about how new your product is, its how well design your e-commerce page is. I avoid websites that are static in nature, where I have to put my information like I am writing an email. Websites that has a proper 'shopping cart' system, a customer service phone number and a physical address of the supplier, appear more trustworthy to the consumers
