are your online and off-line (real) personalities the same? can people form your accurate profile (of how you think) by reading your posts? in other words, are you what your posts here make you look like?

No, I am a bit different. People tell me they prefer my off-line personality. I am quite serious on GS, not so in person.

for the most part....yes.... my offline and online personalities are the same. Although i see myself as being a bit more relaxed, carefree and dare i say....immature... online then i am in person.

Same as munni. I appear to be on acid sometimes. When I most defiantly am not. I am the original good girl. I smile a lot more. Somewhat like Alice in wonders Cheshire cat. Just not as frightening. One would hope.

having said that, for the most part, people do give a glimpse and more into what they really are by what they say here, their views, their idea of what's funny and what's not, etc. unless they take this as someplace they can be who they want to be and not what they are.
in my case, i would more or less react the same way i do here as i would in my life beyond gupshup. more or less.

I'm "just me" all the time, online or not. But I guess I'm alot more shy in person....I dont like people in general lol. I like to keep to myself and to my family. If someone makes me angry, I wouldnt say "boo" to them in "real life" but online I can respond like a tiger if I wanna! Otherwise, points of view, opinions etc are all the same, its just in reality I'd say it silently but online I'd type it all out :)

There would be no nasty surprise waiting, if I met some of my friends on GS in real world. Actually, Im looking forward… Could be fun to see whats reality once you clime over the wall…lol

I have a few personalities ....GS is is one personality .. here in Egypt with friends is another personality .. back at home am another personality ... when am out of home ..... in public am another personality ........

I’m pretty much the same offline as I am online. But I am not as ‘slow’ as I come across online in reality

i dont think i'm much like my on-line persona, i think that i come across as too serious and not all that friendly, when in real life i am the complete opposite.

hmmm im a gemini... so ive innate qualities to carry a different face each new day... on the most part ppl mostly read me (in real life) according to my online personality! only verrrrrrry close family n friends are in on my true colors! :)

in uncertainty is certainty in people's persons and lives.
off line or online, different people can be total opposite to what their first impression is like.
for instance GS hs so many people on it.
the assumption is that most are good, decent women and men, boys and girls.
and by good, it means, honest and self respecting people.
if anyone proves on line or off line, that they are not good, then it is their fault they have to address OR NOT, since their mind and heart is a deceiver and they fail to recognize a good treatment since they never experienced it before.
