onions and their peeling

why onions have no core. u peel them until they are all gone.
why people are not made by God like that?
the reason is that God wanted to have a core accountable for all that the exterior self did or does?

Re: onions and their peeling

so that means humans are like mangos?

Re: onions and their peeling

my secret said it right.

i mean when people are two faces, ordeceiving.

how do we miss on seeing their deception until after the fact that they have done the damage by being deceptive.

i was saying onions are much better by contrast.
they cant be captured in their two faced ness.
and so they do not require the mental strain of assessing them. where as human nature and personality is unpredictably layered.
how do we make peace with that reality?

Re: onions and their peeling

nothin in this world is obvious, and if it does seem obvious then it means your analysis was too shallow.
complex brain can try to unerstand the world after deep and long thoughts
so you can not grasp complex brain understanding with a shalllow analysis
only shallow analysis leads to "deceiving persons", complex analysis allways show that humans are complex with deep thoughts unlike other animals

Re: onions and their peeling

MY LUV 4 U IS LIKE AN ONION,
WHICH LEAVES MANY LAYERS IN IT,
IT WILL ADD TASTE 2 UR LIFE,
BUT IF U TRY 2 CUT IT,
U'L HAVE TEARS IN UR EYES.

Re: onions and their peeling

I think traditionally we make an assumption, that a multi-faced personality must have one single actual face. I think on contrary, the modern self is divided so much in different layers that there isn't any single true face, all of them has some truth, because on different occasions, while making sense of our-self we percieve our-self differently as per environment. I mean we never drop a face as false.

There are no false faces, if there are, then they are not faces yet. Even the actors who act truely carry the character with their self for sometime.

*Regarding making peace, you got to look at your own self, why it appears as a monolithic thing to you? you got to look at it from the outside, as you look others, you will find out that "you" is isn't tractable, there are only actions/feelings/emotions etc. *

So if one can't make real sense of himself then, its quite easy to understand that why we get troubled in making sense of others.

Re: onions and their peeling

When we are born...as babies we have only our inner most layer. Unfortunately through fear of expressing our real feelings, we start adding layers. Materialism, Prejudices, Ego, Our robotic routines, supressing our natural impulses all contribute to the layers.
I do feel that unpeeling all the layers no matter how they make you cry will eventually get you to your innermost purest layer.
Sadly, we are all afraid of exposing it as we may be laughed at or we may be taken advantage of.

Re: onions and their peeling

Re: onions and their peeling

ok , i watched a tv program in which they told us how to prevent being teary while cutting onions... the thing they told was ...to put onion in a big pot and fill that pot with water, and cut the onions under the water.... it wont tear ur eyes up..

Re: onions and their peeling

thanks for the tips, Frozenfire.

Re: onions and their peeling

The real question is: if peeling were involved would crying still be?

Re: onions and their peeling

say some more, if you are using symbolic representatiion of a

plausible new perspective.

in your sense, what does peeling
or crying means?
