reports claim that applying the juice of an onion, regrows the hair on head. i actually know someone who said his aunt applied it, daily, or 3 times a week i think, and after 4 months she had some new hair growing on head, where prev was bald…

I've heard onion as well as garlic can be used to promote hair growth. What would turn me off to this remedy is that onion contains sulfur compounds that the body tries to get rid of through the pores of our skin and our breathing. This is why the smell of onion will linger on your skin and breath after consuming a meal containing onions. And deodorants/perfumes/breath mint/gum only mask the smell......it won't completely go away until the body has gotten rid of it. I personally wouldn't want that strong of a smell to linger in my hair...it can be offensive to others. There are other...less abrasive remedies...out there for hair growth. I think that...more than applying things topically to your scalp....it's also good to reflect over the things that you are putting inside your body. Such as your diet...are you getting enough proteins and leafy greens and fruits...do you consume enough of the building blocks of not only healthy hair but overall good health? Do you exercise and get sufficient sleep and are you relaxed or more stressed out these days. Not saying that topical remedies won't work...rather that several factors play a role in hair health.

onion has sulphur in ot which prevent hair loss thus strengthening your hair and will promote growth if used once a week there is not a single hairfall.

crush onion and squeeze out the juice put it like oil in your hair roots
