I agree. GS offers anonymity where nobody really knows each other. And with this type of privacy, some people feel more comfortable revealing a side to their personality that they DARE not reveal to those standing before them.

If a person comes here and trolls it doesn'nt necessarily means he/she would be like this in real life too...
In most cases those people who come here swear, use bad language etc can only do it sitting behind a computer screen - in real life they probably won't even have guts to face someone face 2 face or say such things!.

thas the beauty of Internet . you get to be someone your not.
so if these ppl are being someone who they are not ... it clearly shows. cos when you try to be something your not .. it most of the time shows it iin a negative way... theres bound to be glitches in it.. but when some one is being themself. even if they say something or do somethingg.. but others will automatically realise k its a genuine mistake by the person.. there coversation will reflect on their personality.
plus as the saying goes.its about the first impression that a person present themselves as..

Some of them are truly as sick in real life or even worse than they appear to be on the internet. But some sickos can’t seem to show their cheap/disgusting side in real life, so they use the internet to be who they want to be but can’t be 
When I was on facebook, I found so many people on my “friends” list, doing just that - saying/being something they wouldn’t dare in real life as they were simply oh so shareef..

Good question. Each one of us is capable of being equally good or bad. We all have the potential to be that awesome person or that royal jerk. Online and offline, we see people making these decisions everyday in choosing their ways. So that nasty person who posts nasty stuff, has made their decision in that particular setting - which is fine, what is more noteworthy is how often are we making bad decisions than good ones. Kwim? I hope so.

People do go a little overboard being online but it'll be a little strange to act very differently than you actually are in real life. I am quite the same I guess.
