YEah but the thing is, my mom in law wants to hire a old school photographer and I want to hire a new trendy one so a cost split is out of the question

Hire the same people. Ask to split the cost rather than two different photographers.

Thats how we do it at least. Both sides split costs and photo/video team traveled to each of the cities and states with us.
