Are people serioously suggesting juggan for not any role, but khirads role, lol. She can't even act, she's like a rakhi sawant,veena malik, no?

I disagree. I think she was really good in Saiqa (has the innocent look.....may not be true in real life..........but I highly doubt is anybody in Showbiz is a naik Parveen), Pani Jaisa Paar and a teleplay with Mohib Mirza and Sabreen Balouch Hisbani. Juggan can act in my opinion.

Mahira Khan totally works as Khirad.........I love her unique looks and the way Sarmad Khoosat directed her..........hats off to the team of Humsafar. I think Mahira should win the award for Best best actress hands down. Second person who was absolutely awesome was Savera Nadeem in QeT. Of course not as glamorous as Mahira but it totally works for that particular drama (QeT).

Also I really like Syed Jibran and Sumbul Iqbal. They were a really awesome pair in Meray Khwab Rezay Rezay. I appeared in as pair in a few other single episode plays. Syed Jibran is a versatile actor and very handsome as well. Maybe just maybe he could have done the role of Asher but again I would not change humsafar's cast though. NOt too crazy about Noor Hassan's acting. He is definitely eye candy but his acting skills need alot of work. IMO Ahsan Khan is much better and his acting appears real.

i agree!!! even though mahiras actign wasnt up to par in the beginning, she came a long way and no one else would fit the role as well as she has...their chemistry is just amazing.

i think mahira khan shud win as best actress too! im pretty sure shell be more refined in her upcoming projects! =)

^ Sajjal did make a cute couple with Fahad in Mastana Mahi even though she was supposed to be the younger bride but they did a great job w/ her look and dressing to make her look very eastern and elegant :)

honestly some of the couples posted here like Faisal-Sawera, Jibran-Sumbul, Kiran Haq-Aijaz Aslam are far better than Mahira-Fawad

i seriously dont get the hype abt humsafar

Totally agree. But a lot of it has to do with script and direction. Honestly after watching episode 16 (last episode) I think there are some serious issues with the production. Could be possible that Sarmad directed the first half and then become busy in some other project and some assistant took over. Or they were working in a limited budget and their funds ran out…but I am losing hope for proper confrontation between Khirad and Asher. The dialogues in QEt, mzzb and doraha were amazing. Now I totally understand the cast amazement at the poparularity of Humsafar. I don’t think anyone of the cast if really familiar with the novel. All admit to this. In fact Mahira admitted to reading the novel after the production.

Honestly I think all major networks especially Hum should have a team that actually watches these dramas before they air to find these flaws and glitches. I am sure there are tom of fans that would do it for free. .
when dramas gain such enormous popularity, the production team owes the fans a proper rendition. Especially for dramas that are based on novels - hello here is a blueprint avail to base the drama.

I dont know the names of any of our actresses but I think Fahad Mustafa can pretty much create good chemistry with anybody
