PESHAWAR: Investigators probing the September 22 twin suicide attacks on All Saints Church in the Kohati locality have suspected that one of the bombers was a foreigner.
“The investigators got the DNA report the other day,” a source said, adding that the DNA report of the bombers hinted that at least one of the suicide bombers was from the Central Asian states. Officials, however, did not confirm the reports.
At least 86 persons were killed in the attack on the church, besides injuries to 140 others. A number of those wounded in the attack are still being treated. The church attack drew widespread condemnation from all over the world.
Drones strikes are dependent on spying reports from ground. Drones can only take out those kharjees about whom American get information and information of their location.
Anyhow, I beleive that drones is good medicine for Kharjee terrorists hiding in tribal areas, and this medicine should continue until all Kharjee terrorists are flushed out of the area and get killed making Pakistan safe from their ‘fitna and fasad’.
Anyhow, regarding statement in the news:
Pakistan is not Burma, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippine, etc. There are many in Pakistan who migrated from central Asia over years, and thus DNA of many in Pakistan would be similar to DNA of people in central Asian states. So, in my opinion, it is impossible that DNA can tell that any one of the bombers could be from Central Asian states.
I think, since church bombing has created lot of hue and cry across Pakistan, to save some reputation of TTP Kharjees that got tarnished because of this bombing, Kharjee sympathizers in media (or government functionaries) are making up stories. I think, whoever claimed on basis of DNA that one of the bombers could be from central Asian states, should be put in jail for spreading rumour for whatever maligned reasons.
But according to Mehsud, the “IMU wants to win Pakistan first,” as it is a major ally of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and sects are jointly carrying out sophisticated terrorist attacks on security forces and government installations in Pakistan.
It does not matter. The damage caused by these monsters was enormous and further damaging the country’s reputation of dealing with minorities and it can not be reversed by making above excuses. The lapse of security agencies demanded that either DG ISI should resign or send these monsters and planners to hell.
