Yes indeed, this is the most inspiring Azaan I have ever heard!

Still trying to find out who is the 'Moazzin' for this one so I can download a higher resolution version, convert it to .wav and play it on my home theatre setup:)

Re: One of the best Azaans I’ve heard…

Shaykh Ali Ahmad Mulla
The best I have heard to date … also from Makkah

Re: One of the best Azaans I've heard...

^ Same for me. JazakAllah khair for bringing back this voice to my ears. I didn't know the name of the Mo'azzan so didn't know where I could find it.

The Azaan in the first post is also beautiful. JazakAllah khair for sharing.

May Allah (s.w.t) bless you all and your families with all the blessings of this life and hereafter.

:salam: bro Lajawab

Did you know that this azan is none other than the well known Shaykh Mishary Al Afasi?

I know a funny and good story regarding this particular azan … in the north of England a friend of a friend had a new sound system in his car with heavy wattage speakers. Instead of using it for music like people did he would use it for azan and qirat. One day he was playing the azan of Sh. Al Afasi and a white girl was walking past and she was so taken by it she had to ask who or what it was. She was impressed at two things that it was in stark contrast to the other Pak/Asian youths with their bollywood/bass remixes and the other thing was the amazing beauty of our religion she wanted to learn more and insisted to be taken to a mosque, within a short while she became a muslim.
