“Hillary Clinton took loads of cash from the private prison industry, and had to be shamed into saying she wouldn’t accept any more contributions from the same companies that profit from the mass incarceration of black and brown people nationwide.”
To think that colored folks would consider voting for her if they knew about this…
What is your opinion are her other weaknesses that woukd make it impossible to convince liberals to vote for her?

She takes donations where she can get it... Hard to really figure out where she stands on most issues. Clearly she's closer to the right on many issues.
Re: One of several Achilles heels for Hilary Clinton
Hilary pandered to the mainly black audience by wrapping herself around Obama so tightly that even the audience blushed visibly.
Black community sure does love her. Although Bernie has a long relationship with the community himself. Was a big advocate during the civil rights movement. For some reason he hasnt highlighted that more.
Bernie is within strking range... Gtting exciting. Bernie vs Trump will be a fascinating election. Would love to see how Bernie responds to the name calling...
Re: One of several Achilles heels for Hilary Clinton
Democrats are now in a bad situation with Bernie rising up. Its very clear if Hilllary wins, there is a strong chance she'll beat republicans.
But If Sanders win there is no way in the world he can win the general election. So now what? Even though I like Bernie Sanders very much I would say lets vote for hillary cuz in the end we want someone strong enough to defeat conservatives

This is just a lamestream media take. That Bernie can't defeat the Rethugs. That's what they said about Bernie's chances vs Hillary.

Yes. He was a big advocate during Civil Rights movement. But for last 30 plus years, he has no been sensitive to Black issues. His behavior at Netroots and in Seattle when BLM upstaged him showed that he was clueless about Black issues. Or didn't care enough.
Few days ago he said reparations for Blacks wouod be divisive. And woukd not pass Cobgress. . As if that is a criterion he cates about. That turned me against him more than a bit.

I somewhat agree but its not only anyone's opinion. Its the polls and you would know by now that poll results are much more accurate than any other part of the world. Sanders has improved his campaign a lot but he has to work much harder keeping general elections in sight.

What we're the poll results 6 months ago re the primary? Answer - Bernie had no chance. So your claim that poll results are "much more accurate" may be true as we get nearer the elections. But 6 months ago the polls were terrible in predicting.
And by the way I don't know which polls you are referring to. Sanders is better in certain match ups vs Rethugs.
So I could not disagree with you more. Adopting such defeatist attitude was why Kerry got nomination over Dean. That ridiculous word - electability. It should be a synonym for defeatist attitude.
Re: One of several Achilles heels for Hilary Clinton
Well you can be as much negative as you want but just to clarify six months back polls were reflective of the image at that time which was for sure ultimate lame for Sanders. A simple example is that as per NBC the viewership of latest democratic debate exceeded by 10 millions from the last one. So what you can hope for is that people start liking Sanders especially when he'll be against Trump or Trump does any bhund to make him popular but before the verdict comes out, we do have to rely on these polls unless you opt to live in a denial.
Re: One of several Achilles heels for Hilary Clinton
Response in CAPS
Well you can be as much negative as you want TOTALLY CO CONFUSED. YOU ARE THE ONE BEING NEGATIVE. SAYING WE SHOULD ELECT HILLARY EVEN THOUGH SANDERS VIEWS AND APPROACH ARE BETTER. AND THE REASON YOU OFFER IS ELECTABILITY AND POLLS. but just to clarify six months back polls were reflective of the image at that time which was for sure ultimate lame for Sanders. EXACTLY MY POINT. THAT 6 MONTHS AGO THE POLLS PREDICTION WERE UNRELIABLE THEY GAVE SANDERS NO CHANCE SO RELYING ON THEM AND NOT VOTING FOR SANDERS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN WISE RATHER IT WOUOLD HAVE BEEN THE NEGATIVE APPROACH. THOSE OF US WHO WERE POSITIVE DID NOT RELY ON POLLS. WE USED OUR OWN JUDGMENT AND THINKING TO SUPPORT SANDERS SINCE HIS IDEAS WERE BETTER. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT WE PLAN TO DO WRT GENERAL ELECTIONS. USE OUR JUDGMENT THAT HE CAN BEAT RETHUGS. WHILE THE ONES WHO ARE NEGATIVE WI SIMPLY ACCEPT THE POLLS AND VOTE FOR HILLARY. A simple example is that as per NBC the viewership of latest democratic debate exceeded by 10 millions from the last one. WHO DO U THINK IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT. IT IS SANDERS WHO EXCITES THE BASE. So what you can hope for is that people start liking Sanders especially when he'll be against Trump or Trump does any bhund to make him popular but before the verdict comes out, we do have to rely on these polls unless you opt to live in a denial. NO. WE DO NOT RELY ON POLLS THAT ARE KNOWN TO BE UNRELIABLE MONTHS IN ADVANCE.
It is those who rely on polls months in advance and vore for the candidate with worse ideas who are being negative. As for being in denial, those who IGNORE evidence that these polls are useless with 10 months to go are in denial.
Re: One of several Achilles heels for Hilary Clinton
Maybe I am missing something. I am quite sure this statement - “Well you can be as much negative as you want” - came from you.
I was simply splainin that those who vote for the candidate with the better ideas are positive. And those who rely on polls to guide their decisions to vote for candidates with poorer ideas are the ones being negative.
