Lemonade.

Has anyone else found themselves craving lemonade more frequently or is it just me? I’m drinking it right now…and I usually have lemonade at night. Growing up…we would visit Pak during the summers…and it was like a nightly ritual to make ice-cold lemonade…sometimes in a big steel pitcher for the whole family. They say lemon juice consumed before bed cleanses the liver and leads to better skin. Maybe that’s one reason why my skin did better in Pak. Fun memories.

Re: One is never too many!!!

Tried looking for them in the ethnic aisle of the supermarket, but only found Mcvittie’s Hobnobs instead. Are they any good?

Re: One is never too many!!!

Hobnobs are good too. They’re crunchy oat biscuits made from rolled oats. They’re quite similar to Anzac biscuits, which I quite like (I even have a recipe to make them from scratch).

Other biscuits that I’ve found to be quite good from, McVittie’s brand are Digestives, Chocolate Digestives and Rich Tea Biscuits:

Ifyou want to give Jaffa Cakes a try, here’s a recipe to make them from scratch:
BBC - Food - Recipes : Homemade jaffa cakes

Guacamole spread on toast.

Dont hate till you participate.

Re: One is never too many!!!

Wow! Thanks, Mezghan. :flower1:

I will try the hobnobs. And I’ll see if the halal markets carry jaffa cakes.
