i am surprised that one fouth of the children were abused.
this is due to lack of child protection agencies and laws.

every woman is harrassed there everyday.. verbally , sexually n whatnot..

every woman ?? thats like overstating the facts atleast 100 folds.. !! its sad that some ppl just use children as their escape goats but the good thing is that more ppl/organizations are there workin to curb this problem and we will see the number of cases minimizing in future.. inshaAllah.. :slight_smile:

its about time we have these organization .. are they effective though?

This not culturally or religiously acceptable! Not only is it appalling but it makes me furious to see these adults walking around free. I'd like to think of myself as a moderate person but with kids, I want to make sure that the child abusers are punished to the full extent possible...beat them..torture them...whatever it takes to prevent them from harrassing another child again.

well 95% of the time it goes unnoticed.. meaning nobody even comes to find out that this has happened and the 5% that it does come under the public scrutiny its some powerful guy or the law isnt strong enuff to catch the person responsible because they become at large.. !!! go figure how the NGOs can be successful.. its sad.. :( .. just once in a blue moon police or the authorities act up and find the ppl responsible and get them to face the charges but thats only like .5% of the time.. now if we can only save half a kid out of hundred we are doomed.. arent we !!! but ofcourse in the end i HOPE that it gets better and sickos dont get their wish atleast when it comes to this issue.. fingers crossed.. !!!
