well Pakistani one hit wonders to be exact..
I can only think of one.. that “Hum tum hon gay Badal Ho ga” dude.. he did try some other ‘naghmay’ but I only remember him by that one song where he created waves and then just died down..

Can Hawwa Hawwa be classified as a one-hit wonder? I don't think the guy released any hits after that. I don't remember his name. Late 80s if I remember correctly.

i'm saying that cuz i think he did have some other semi-hits later on..

well i'd cut Shehaki more slack.. since he also had this hit with Allan Faqir ....
Faakhre-Alam with some Punjabi/Rap song,(can't think of the name) and after that none of his song went hit

shehki was actually pretty good.
I,ve been trying to get hold of his songs,,, cant seem to find em on the net. He had some nice songs... at least i liked him.

nah, Kaka jee, the song Mehnaz mentioned was sung by Hasan Jehangir and he was definitely a one-hit wonder.

there was this band called live wires...
they had a song called nayee umangain jagga kay to daikho...which was pretty popular at the time,,, and i,ve never heard of em eversince.
oh Yeah you are right KAKA ATOM BUM , but there was also a song by Shekhi Cant think of the name it went "na na kurr bhiya, Allah hi sai durr bhiya" or something
Amir Saleem,(the dude with long hair) God knows who listens to him I think he did have a hit once
same applies to Arif Lohar (God have mercy) who still listens to him but they still keep singing
arif lohar is heard by lots of ppl in pakistan :P he is a folk singer and only reason he is still there is because his dad was a legend.

Hasan Jahangir's biggest hit was Hawa Hawa but he did have other hit songs after that, personally I never really liked any of his songs but he had a good hit "Hatoo Bachoo" so cant be classifeid as a one hit wonder.
Same goes for Fakher-e-Alam. His biggest remains "Bhangra Paoo" but "Laut aao did pretty decent in the market as well.
Maine tumhari gagar sey was sung by Alamgir I thought and not Sheiki.
Amir Saleem's biggest hit remains "Ajnabi" but he's had numerous hits after that so can not be claasified as a one hit wonder.
I think Live Wires is one of those bands who can be called one hit wonder. The relased their first album with "Nayee Umungain" and it was an instant hit, they put that song in their second album as well kinda of reprise but didnt wake any umungain that time around.
Jal is a failry new band and gave a hit "Aadat". Though the band has split but lets wait and see what if anything else comes out under the "Jal" banner before declaring them a one hit wonder.
There was band names "Sequncers". You cant call them one hit wonder but they could be classified as one album wonder. The climbed the Music Chanel Charts with songs like Yadein, Bhoolna then released their album which did ok but then they disappeared after that.
Same goes for Fringe Benefits. A couple of their songs were hit "Tanhai", "Zindagi" and "Bhangra" they released one album and thats it.
Wet Metal )Najam's first band" could be called a one hit wonder as well. Their only hit came when they appeared on T.V with "Mujhey Pyaar ki Pyaas Hai (Also featured in Najam's Debut solo album). Then Najam left and they found a new vocalsit in Fawad. though I think Fawad had a very melodic voice but they were never really able to give another hit again. One of their songs "Teri Meethi Batain" was liked by some quarters, beautiful song but didnt make any waves among the masses.
Amir Zaki has always been one of the leading guitarists in Pakistan but as a vocalist he is a one hit wonder as well. "Mera Pyaar" was a beautiful composition and remains his only hit as a vocalist to date.
There are other one hit wonders as well but I think I have given a big enough reply for now. Baki phir kabhie sahi.
