I am having a one day wedding because I have very little family in this country, I am confused as to whether I should wear a red lengha - as I wore a red churidar on my nikaah, and if this is a reception with a rukhsati, what other colours can i wear except for red?
^like ur name hehehehe.
Yeah I had some fam who had one day weddings. I'd go for valima colours; peach, silver, white grey , or even pastels but stay away from red if u've already worn it as the styling and look will end up looking the same baraat wala.
Hey, thank you for your replies, I was thinking of a deep violet, purple with silver kadai, and the same for the sherwani, bold colours with light kadai.
hey! I had a one day wedding as well. For my nikkah i wore white, and for the reception I wore deep purple with accents of emerald green and ruby red. The work was a mix of dull silver, dull gold and swarovski crystals.
This is the dress I saw posted on GS forums and I have ordered it for my shaadi. A lady in my city sells pakistani clothes as a business and I really trust her work as we have bought from her many times in the past. She gets karigars to make the suits in pakistan. I have ordered a replica of this dress, but with some changes of course. I hope it turns out just as lovely! Definitely a good choice for a one day wedding (but of course i am bias ) lol
I really like this one! Is it by HSY?
i would have changed the color to something more bright.. i like the gharara, is this what they call a “dhaka pajama”?
