I think the ratings describe the best teams in the world, Australia and South Africa are really close.
As for Srilanka not being higher than Pak, well I don't that, Pak has lost some matches but they have won alot more than they have lost, they deserved that spot and just look for that to change in couple months.

Pakistan being ahead of Sri Lanka? Did you watch the beating they inflicted upon the Lankans? Did you watch how they whitewashed the Windies, did you see Waqar lifting the Sharjah cup (something ganguly can only dream of) and defeating the kiwis two days back?
p.s. Cricketer mag is so popular that they have (or used to have)a version in Urdu as well!!

as i read on cricinfo.com that austrilia wants to play two test matches so that they can have time to play one domestic match before starting the ashes series.
but Pakistan cricket board, quite rightly wants to play a three test match series.
so its not finalised yet.

Don't worry Asif bhai, we will beat every side in the world in the next couple months consistently.
The way we played today and the past couple matches, the confidence of our players is building up and that is the key for them to the top.
So far in the past couple matches everyone has performed well with the exception of Inzi who is doing his best.
The way Youhana and Younis are playing, they could lead us to a straight world cup victory over the best sides in the world.
But asif Im not saying pak is the world champ, im just saying, what happened in the 2nd match yara, in response to what you said???
