How come my right arm develops faster after lifting weights than my left? I work on them equally, however the left one seems less developed.
Is that because I am not working on it more, or maybe in the past I only worked on the right, or is it related to the injury I had on my arm when I was a kid?
its a common problem for people using machines..your right arm is overcompensating for the left arm since it is the stronger arm.
barbels i.e. free weights help somewhat compared to machines but you may see better results by goign to dumbbells or use machines that have independent pulleys, bars, cables etc for each arm.
Or just work the left one more than the right one, though I dont know if that complicates your injury.
p.s. interesting fact, the famous Olympian field hockey player, Shahbaz Senior of Pakistan had legs of unequal length! Despite that handicap, the man was dubbed as the Maradonna of Field Hockey and led his team to many memorable victories.

you must be right handed. : ) this is pretty common.
isolate your left arm to even it out.
like others said....use free weights instead of the machines. when you use machines it's your body's natural response to "cheat" yourself by using the more stronger arm to life the weights rather then the weaker arm.
