The year 2013. This is undoubtedly one of the lowest times a Pakistani has gone through. High crime rates, corruption, lack of education, the list goes on. Amidst all this, a man such as Imran Khan, whos words seem to show the light of hope that many people have seemed to be lost. His former bond to the Pakistani cricket team and the fact that he is the only captain till date to have won a cricket world cup for Pakistan further strengthens his bond to his people.
What tomorrow brings, no one can be certain. But for a man who has not been truly tested in this country’s,government at least deserves one chance. Traveling with Khan for these 3 days showed his intense hard work, stamina and determine to achieve what he wants. He may win or lose the 2013 elections but one thing is for sure. Since Khan’s inception into politics, never have so many people stood behind him with such faith and believe. Here’s to a better tomorrow for Pakistan. Regardless of who takes the responsibility.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Pakistan
To me, this is the most exciting time in Pakistan's history. The people have awaken and are demanding more and more from the government. Yes we are in turmoil at this moment, but I think the next 10 years are going to be very productive. There is more and more accountability, new and modern ideas to run different sectors of government. There is actual policy based politics that the politicians are being forced to engage in. They have to show more and more what they are doing for the people. Imran Khan can take a lot of credit for this competitive, performance based atmosphere that is only going to grow in the future. If Imran Khan comes to power, I am might as well kick the west and go back home and become a part of it's development which I am sure is going to happen in the next decade.
