Re: once again...................

do you have the scoreboard? please post if you o. thanx

both the teams played well as reported. i've never watched blind cricket on TV. how long they have been playing this game? was it the first WC?

i also saw on the news that Pakistan lost 8-2 in Hockey. England defeated Pakistan in preliminary/pool matches.

Re: once again...................

^I think it is not the first one.I remember watching in 1996 ,in parallel with the 1996 World Cup Cricket.

Re: once again...................

Why so stuck up with loss to India? Congrats to India for the victory?

Re: once again…

Exactly. Why can’t we just congratulate each other? What’s the big deal.
Like Arleitter did here. This thread should get more responses. I don’t understand why positive threads get less responses from many people than the ones filled with animosity. No wonder these types of threads prosper.

As an Indian I am so over hearing about the world cup record from either side. Pakistan has comparatively won more odi/test matches vs India. We’ve just won more world cup matches. Everyone seems to miss this fact on the forum.

Re: once again…

The point the opener is trying to make is that while overall Pak has won more ODI matches against India they have never beaten India in world cups. Lost every time. That is the point.

Re: once again...................

Ok true, but i feel the second fact should also be mentioned. Why only take negative perspective. Pakistan has won in other big tournaments like Asia cup and Champions trophy. Also i don't know if this record holds for blind crickters team from both countries.
The Pakistani side are the defending champions. Guess which team they beat last world cup final to win? They beat India. Then in the world cup previous to that they won the world cup final in Chennai, India. Out of 4 Blind world cups- Pakistan has won 2, south Africa has won 1 and this is India's first one.

I don't see the point in always mentioning this WC record as an insurmountable barrier. Also context is important. So the point Ehsan Uncle is that this WC record is not held in Blind cricket. :)

Re: once again...................

Also i feel the more you mention it becomes like this psychological and mental block. Instead of focusing on the negatives, why not focus on the positives? Like Pakistan's record in Blind cricket. I don't know why but i have a feeling Pakistan will win the next world cup. It is also in Australia like in 1992.

Re: once again...................

Point taken. :)

Re: once again...................

in 2011 we were this close but Misbah was playing for India!

Re: once again…

OP is wrong, in “Blind Cricket World Cup” Pakistan has beaten India already

I was going to say welcome back waleed but have to think now :mocking:
