Minorities are safe and happy in India.Adminitration takes stringent measures to protect them or birng the culprits under law.Atleast there is presence of a strong media that will cry for minorities.

Ya i saw one demonstration during Gujrat Masscare,
but you may be right, by minorities, India mean, Christians ( burning them alive is not big issue), Jews or any group/community backed by west.
Yadus, Dalilts (low caste) and Muslims are not given the status of Humans, so they not minorities by any mean.

Minorities are far more safe in Pakistan than they are in India. Where I live in Karachi, there are people from variety of religions and sects - christians, hindus, ismalies, shias, qadianis, sunnies, deobondies, wahabies, all live in peace and harmony.

There are few people who create problems but majority of the people in Pakistan are braod minded and peace loving.

Gujarat was a sad incident but the people of Gujarat live in peace and harmoy now,though there have been some efforts to undermine that harmony by some `elements'.But what's happening in Pakistan is something different.
