I have finally gotten around to posting some of the pics I took in Karachi earlier this year. I was only there for about five days, so there aren’t that many pics, unlike last time I went. Also, I had to shrink the size of the pictures by a lot so the quality isn’t all that. Most importantly, my bakri pic won’t upload.
Anyway, i’m including some air shots taken from the plane on route to Pakistan from Jeddah.
Our plane made unscheduled stops in Abu Dhabi and Muscat, Oman. I wasn’t able to get any pics of Abu Dhabi from the air since it was night time when we landed, but did manage to get loads of the Arabian desert, bits of Jeddah from the air, Bahrain, Muscat and lots from Karachi. Looking back at the photos now, I can barely remember which place is which.

I have no idea where exactly this coral reef was, but it came on route to Karachi. Absolutely gorgeous from the air!!
… and finally Karachi. I took some water shots cause it looked like the shadow from the clouds was playing on the water … and there was also a strange ripple in the water too … …. hmmm, I wonder what caused that. I kept thinking of Finding Nemo the whole time.
Now these pictures are from Zamzama, Clifton and old Clifton. We had to go to old Clifton, which is apparently a big druggie hang out place now, cause I have lots of baby pics taken there and we needed to see how the area has changed. It used to be nice in the pictures, it’s horrid now. Oh well, at least the rest of Clifton is nice.
I wasn’t too impressed with Zamzama. The area itself is nice but the shops are overrated.

No, sorry suhaib. I don’t think we went down all of Zamzama, only a small area cause I was hungry and wanted to eat, so we left.
Please, take these pictures with a grain of salt. I took most of them in a moving car, plus, I was only in Karachi for less than a week. I’m sure I missed all the nicer spots.

Great pics Mehnaz. Thanks for sharing them :) They do bring back many memories from all of those places. I personally liked Bahrain's skyview better than muscat's..because of the clear water and islands.
