on pots

suppose u put a pot on the stove with water for chaye, then forget about it. and hour later you smell something funky coming from the kitchen, and theres your pot, smouldering angrily, the water all gone. u hastily throw water on it and put it under the tap so it cools down, but now there is this bluish hue in the center of the pot where the black nonstick coating used to be. and that hue doesnt go away even after lots of scrubbing. and a discerning nose can still smell something chemical from the hue, raising warning signals in your mind. you are too precious to die of stupid causes like poisoned pots and wayward tea.

is the pot still usable? bear in mind that i am extremely stingy, and will live chaye less if you tell me i cannot use the pot. i have already ruined one pot before this, in the same manner, which I managed to blame roommate for. i do not think even he is stupid enough to fall for it the second time.

pllease help me out, and only tell me that the pot is unusable if you see me dying from some bad tea.

thanku

Re: on pots

just buy a new pot, it’s not good to be that stingy :nono:

Re: on pots

:bummer:

its not just about stinginess. roommate miyan has an acid tongue

Re: on pots

cook something in it..... twice and throw away

the nasty taste will go into the food/tea and after a few times use the acrid taste will go away.

unless the pot is of very poor quality.....

also I would advise that you make your roommate a cup of tea before you use the pot to make your own.
if he complains about the taste
throw the pan away.
