On must be balanced, if in politics son can kill father why can not a rape be arrange

A lot has been said about the Balochistan crisis and lady Doctor’s rape. Reading all this material re-confirms belief of many that it is only we the Pakistanis who are enemy of our own country. Someone rightly once stated why should Israel or India try to damage Pakistan, we ourselves are enough for this. As it is a fashion today to keep medicines on home table likewise it has become a fashion amongst we the Pakistanis to always give negative remarks about our own country, our leaders, traditions, customs etc. Thus we comfort ourselves as being liberal and modern. We hardly find any good in our country. From hundreds of items I read I could find only two pieces written with balance sense. These were from columnists Abdul Qadar Hassan and Attaulhaq Qassmi. Whoever raises slogan against the country it appears we are with him These two columnists are the only ones showed courage in saying a sort of “Kalima-e-Haq”. All these hundreds of columns appearing in dailies, weeklies and on Net every one appears to be sympathizing totally with Nawab Akbar Bugti. Only these two columnists courageously stated that all these critics forgot that when in 1970s the military operation was taken in Balochistan, same Akbar Bugti was the Governor of the Province and the military action was taken with his support. Mr. Najam Sethi of Friday Times in his column says “Nawab Bugti has constantly complained that Pakistan Petroleum Ltd has reneged on its financial commitments to local Bugti tribesmen at Sui”. But very learned Najam Shethi or people like him or papers like South Asia Tribune never raise a very basic question “in an independent country why should any PPL or government make financial commitments (royalty) to tribesmen? Is the sui field land personal property to these tribesmen? Why such a financial commitment should not be to the Government of Province’? Why should royalty be paid to tribesmen or their Sardars? Sui gas is generated from Balochistan. It is quite principle stand that people of the area must get gas first and more royalty ratio than Punjab and Sindh who at present as per press are getting more which of course is unjustified. These learned Najam Sehtis, Shaheen Shebais and similar almost in each of their writing do quote us references from India. But in this sui case they never quote any reference if in India any royalty was being paid to any Nawab or tribesmen. Concerning Lady Doctor’s rape. It is as much condemnable as could be possible. But is rape a rare case in Pakistan? I have all personal sympathies with the victim and wish the real culprit must be publicly hanged. But have anyone so far critcised this incidence with balance?
According to South Asia Tribune of Mr. Shaheen Shebai “The police investigation revealed a cover up as an army officer, NAMED BY NAWAB AKBAR BHGTI as Captain Ahmed”. How mysterious it is that Nawab Bugti names the alleged culprit. No one has however the honestly to raise an important point namely that the victim herself who being a doctor knows more than anyone else the importance of immediate medical examination for forensic purpose did not tried to get the FIR registered. In the initial press reports it was stated she refused to talk to anyone unless her husband comes from abroad. If PPL played a criminal negligent role why it should be taken as guaranteed that it was done on directives of government or army. Why it can not be considered for a while for investigation that there might be some hands behind this to take advantage to involve name of army or flare up frustrations. After all since end 1960s our army is a fish bone in throats of many. Some people give emphasis that in Balochistan culture no one can dare rape. Is it correct? Are some big Zimidars Chowdhries of Punjab, Akhwans of NWFP, Waderas of Sindh and Sardars of Balochistan and their sons not famous for treatment with female folks discharging duties at Hawalies? These people forget that world has today changed. Could 10 years ago anyone think of an Afghan women walking without Burqa. Did these people not see last year a coloured photograph published world over an Afghan Miss of the Year dressed only in colourful Braisser and undergarment? If someone has not seen I can provide press copy of this photograph as I have kept it as a sovenior. Why today a Balochi cannot rape if they can indulge in smuggling of children. The judicial committee formed to investigate the lady doctor’s rape must also include the points namely (i) how many ghost workers are getting salaries from PPL (ii) what are their addresses and from which Sardar’s area they belong (iii) who is collecting salaries and huge overtimes of these ghost workers (iii) how many PPL vehicles remain on “outside” duty and who are using them. All these points would also lead to the true conclusion. If in politics country’s sensitive installations which are used by the public like Sui Gas/pipelines can be destroyed, if father can kill son and son can kill or deport his father in politics, why for political goals a rape cannot be “arranged”. Abdul Qadar Hasan has rightly quoted almost similar uprising was in East Punjab but Indra Ghani used full force, evaded the holy Sikh Golden Temple keeping the country’s interest supreme. I do not mean that I take our today’s army a Farishta. No. Our today’s army is not what it used to be in fifties and sixties. For our today’s army law is what they say and what they do. Our today’s army is a land mafia. The other day there were tears about to come reading that on marriage of NWFP Governor who is a General the main road leading to his house remained closed all the day for people. Army band was playing. Same newspaper was also telling on death of mother of a high military officer official helicopters were used to bring people to attend funeral. Pir Pagaro has rightly stated today Pakistan is of army and not army of Pakistan. But even then before blaming the rape on an army officer and blaming the whole army institution one must be patient and balanced until true facts do not come

Is this from an article or your own views? In either case, well stated and I agree.
