why was theo van gogh murdered instead of ayaan hirsi? why is she just getting threats, while others die at the hands of her words?
i am not saying that she should be killed, but if she is really upsetting many people (which she is), why are others dying instead of her? she is the apostate, not theo, then why did he have to suffer?
if denmark upsets us, and we go about boycotting it’s economy … and receive 10s of chain mails everyday about it ending with “what will you answer to Allah when He asks about what we did when they made fun of your Prophet saw” … then why dont we also boycott radical muslim ideologies so openly? and if a boycott of the sort does happen … then why isnt it on an equal massive scale that it reaches out to the entire ummah … that should definitely weaken the radical scholars.
why does art/imagery offend us so much that is even a mm out of line? e.g. sarah maple. her painting of a hijabi woman gently holding a piglet … so what? she wasnt shown eating it. what was so offensive about it that she deserved death threats?
american and danish boycott was so strong that schools in Pakistan actually stopped selling coke,etc in their canteens.
if Muslims become boring to western media. if they stop creating a hype about everything … they’ll just move on to their next target to harass … i really sometimes feel that they are waiting for the next ethnicity to harass. until then, they just keep playing with us.

i dont know, i never did any protest, but in my heart i knew it was wrong for the danes to ridicule us, and our RasoolAllah (saw)

because it makes more sense to put right their respective situations. such as the land issue in palestine, foreign meddling in iraq, foreign troops and killing in afghanistan, pakistani troops in fata and so on
indeed in most cases, if we sought to harm these people then we are the zalimun, we are not just, and we cannot claim to follow islam

^ I didn't say you are part of it. I just mentioned how us the youth but more of our elders are being duped into believing all this BS. It's not art. It's a direct attack to our deen. If we become passive about it, then all this will be "fine" and we'll see more and more of such disgusting behavior. It's best to speak out, make others aware than to just be quiet about it. It's like the westerners say, those Muslims who don't speak out against the suicide bombers are part of the problem. It's exactly that but MORE dangerous as we're accepting their thoughts and lifestyle which is the main cause for destruction in this world, not religion.

no doubt there are people who put out death threats but these are really rare, just handful of persons. we might be fooled into believing the media that it's a daily issue.
when you opposition does not want to discuss further and show their ignorance again and again, we should speak up instead of being apologetic. there are people who participate in discussion, why don't we hear about them?
