I will never apologize to anybody for them being too touchy , unless it serves any of my vested interest. Yeh sir kut sakta hay sharam say jhuk nahi sakta agar koi mufaad wabista na ho toh. :hmmm:

I'd say it has to be polite all the time in order to do some good.

When a person become cruel/harsh while criticizing, it turns into nonconstructive argument from constructive criticism

Criticism should be polite and constructive however occasionally it needs to be harsh to really sink in.

well here are my judgements and scores.

TLK : +2 (+1 for apologizing, and +1 for not being a flip-flop)

TLK's fan brigade ceaselessly arguing his case when he was happily chopping mangos, grapes etc: -3 (-1 for not letting the issue rest after last night, -1 for having no real position except to defend TLK, -1 coz 3 is a nice number)

I am little dull when it comes to back handed compliments. I am sure that Mirch is complimenting but for DC6, I have no mufaad wabista with this apology. I could’ve sent a PM to heer, but because I was publicly being rude to her, I thought that she deserves a public apology.

This is quite commendable, TLK.

I was going to say that to Niksik in the other thread, but I'll say it here. I find it commendable that she took your side even if she may have thought you were wrong. That is not easy to do. And now she has me thinking what I would do in that situation.
