Why is it that people jump down your throat if you make fun of someone's religion, nationality, sexual preference, whatever, but it's perfectly acceptable at gupshup to make fun of overweight people.
How many of you guppies are overweight? Hiding behind nicks on the internet, how many of you have perfect bodies? Maybe the guy has a problem, a disease.

Don’t blame GupShup okie, seriously hmmm look at the number of visits (103 right now), and only you’ve noticed this, so if we start making rules according to our moral and ethical values most you of would have left us long ago. Our members ‘tell’ us how much freedom of speech they can handle, well most of the time anyway. Khair that’s not important here, you’ve raised a very good point, it’d be interesting to see what others have to say on this.

Seriously, a person can be fat for various reasons. Usually its a habit of eating a lot and not exercising adequately. In some cases, it can be a hormonal trouble, which may or may not be treatable through medications.

Sabah, what makes you think I was blaming Gupshup? I was talking about the people at gupshup. So let's not get overly sensitive there.
Secondly, if the people here think it's OK to make fun of overweight people, that's fine. Then I should have the right to post something that makes fun of Shiite muslims, or ahmedis. Isn't making fun just that?? Making fun?
