Aisha it's not good for your back to carry so much in this way - maybe you should try carrying a rucksack for your books and carry your laptop in your hand - ie don't use the shoulder strap, and alternate which hand you hold it in :x
I know it's probably not an option for Uni, but here for work, I try to use the pull along laptop bag as much as possible!!

Buy a laptop bag on wheels and hang your book back around it too. I had the same prob. not anymore after I bought a laptop bag on wheels.

because its not about the financial part of it, the thing is i am constantly on the move from one place to another, from one building to another climbing and unclimbing stairs so laptop bag will be a hassle i think because my friend has it and i have seen her.

The one I have is convertable kind , you can use it as backback , as hand around the shoulder and also wheel it around.

The one I have does not have a brand name on it. Go around the city and look for various makes a models, you will find one that suits you.

lol same here! parh ka kiya karna hai
i park my car as close to the entirance as possible and go outside to get books before class
but the downside is i kept getting parking tickets for parking in visitors or damn faculty

do you commute…if you do, doesnt univ have some sort of lockers for commuters…although i never used them i know ours does have some
