I just logged in to my gmail email account and to my astonishment all 300 or more emails are deleted WTH???
I am soo upset right now caz i had soo many important files and other documents..
How could this have happened?? Also is there any way to retrieve them ?!!

have u checked the "trash" yet?
if they are gone from the trash as well, then someone has your gmail pass :p

I dont think Gmail gives any backup facility but ya they definately can check the IP address where someone logged from & deleted if ur account was breached, thats pretty much it u can do about it.

it can usually happen when you forge to "logout" of the gmail properly and just close the windows, perhaps at a school lab computer

u'll see that some gmail user's have lately been facing this issue and u happen to be the "lucky" few if thats the case.
email google and have them retrieve whatever they can.

Wasn't there some security issues regarding Gmail that surfaced during the first few mths when it came out? I forget what the details were.
