OMG, people, I have not seen a decent thread concerning “western” music for a long time, especially at a time when it is taking new turns and enveloping new breeds in to it’s “greebo”/“punk”/“goth”/“rock” masses.
By all those I meant more and more “teenagers” are standing on street corners looking colourfully stupid. But nevertheless…its part of culture and so, in my opinion merits discussion.
In my opinion, alot of this music is BS but there are certain gems to be found. Like “A”, David Gray, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Goo Goos, Bon Jovi, Dido, U2 etc..and I am almost convinced taht Travis will be back meaner than before. HIM, Silverchair and one or two maralynn manson are quite good too..but he is seeming to become more and more over-rated as the years pass. Shocking tactics are now expected and so, he seems to be focusing more on his image now rather than his lyrics or voice..

True and straight from his heart I think… but as far as relating to such impassioned words…I think not.
