^^Aww your soo lucky, I have a class that night so I won't be able to go..but last time I went for the twilight midnight showing....it was CRAZY..there were mobs of screaming girls in the lineup to get the bests seats...and when Edward first appeard in the movie..(the cafe scene) All the girls started SCREAMING...i couldn't even understand what the actors were saying! It was pretty intense :P

Saw the movie this afternoon. I was sorely disappointed -- it wasn't even funny like the first one, except for occasional moments. But I don't think that's just the movie's fault; this book is the most slow and depressing and angsty of all of them. I'm looking forward to Eclipse, cuz I like all the Jacob-Edward tension in that.
I will say that the cinematography was better. They did a nice job with effects. The werewolves were done well. And at least the vampires actually sparkled, rather than looking sweaty! The story is just not very good in this one. I actually think Jacob and the other werewolves were quite good. I liked Edward much less, in terms of acting. And they made him look weirdly pale, not attractive at all like in the first one. Alas.
