Karachi was heaven before MQM. JI took care of the politics, and didn’t leave a violent or religious footprint on the city, KHI remained peaceful, tolerant yet very liberal though a conservative party got the votes. 80s was a nightmare, post-Altaf fleeing to London it turned into hell in the 90s. When will Karachiites see that their success lies in t he economic success of their city which is impossible with ethnic gangs masquerading as political parties?

No political party has killed and tortured thousands like the MQM.

Every party has a few thugs, but no party is set up as a criminal mafia, collecting bhatta and killing, like the MQM.
