OMG I felt the earthquake.

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit Eastern Seaboard of USA. I felt it.

I have been through two big ones in California. They were scary.
Once I was on the 6th floor in Karachi and earthquake struck , that was scary , people were running toward the stairs to get out of building, I did not because if you are on 6th floor how fast can you go down the stairs to save yourself from your ultimate demise ?
Have you experienced an earthquake, flood , hurricane etc ?

I felt the shocks of 2001 earth quick of gujrat in karachi.

I felt my first real earthquake today.

I have felt tremors before but did not realize it as they were in the middle of the night, and my sleep was disturbed and I just went back to sleep. It wasnt' till morning that I realized what happened.

We badly felt the October 2005 that sweeped away Pakistan's north. It was so dreadful here moving up & down, I wonder what it would have been near the epicenter in the north. :(

Once in Quetta, I think it was 1997 (but don't remember exactly) and the 2005 earthquake. These were the major ones. Many others I didn't even know about until much later!

we have at least two earthquakes a month (where I live) in Japan.the government makes sure to remodel the old buildings every couple of years so they don’t collapse like they did in kobe.

also try having afterschocks for a mth or so. and everybody panicking + building is shaking.

I guess it would be scary if you’ve never experienced it but it’s an experience and I think every country (not just Japan) should build/design houses so they can endure typhoons/hurricanes/sandstorms/earthquakes.

so there won’t be so much damage.
