Do you think people can see signs which tell them what future holds for them or if they should/shouldn’t follow a particular course of action?

Yes...........i do think that there is a pre-defined pattern to the way things work out .
One would say things are "designed" to follow a certain scheme of things !

i ask for signs. i never get them. i’ve stopped looking for them now 
there isn’t any pattern to things. the world revolves around chaos. that’s how things were designed. there are predictions, but to expect that the flap of a butterfly’s wing will not lead to a hurricane in the other side of the world is a huge fallacy.

If you believe in omens or signs which can be interpreted by humans, the pre-defined pattern shouldn’t be so well-defined. Maybe you’re trying to say that we can see signs but can do nothing to change what the future has in store for us. 
Interesting perspective.
