If someone doesnt like eating fish , what alternatives do we have to ensure they get enough Omega 3?
Re: Omega 3
Omega3 fish oil supplements
Re: Omega 3
Walnuts are a great source of Omega 3
You can also get it through lots of foods that have supplemental omega 3 added to it, like eggs milk and cereals.
Flax seed is also good. If you have a Trader Joes near you, they have this product called Golden Roasted Flax seed and it's delicious (in my opinion). It tastes like toasted sesame seeds. It's high in fiber too. I've stopped eating it these days because I'm pregnant and flax seed has estrogen like qualities that can trigger contractions. But if a person is not pregnant then flax seed is great.
Instead ad of fish oils, I've been taking Prenatal DHA by Nordic Naturals on Amazon. The pills look big but they're easy to swallow and have no fishy aftertaste. I was able to take these pills even though my prenatal vitamin was making me gag and throw up during the first trimester.
