Ombre hair

Has anyone tried it? colours? Personally i’d like medium brown with red at the bottom.

Haven't tried it,I am so conservative regarding my hair :).....but would love to see on somebody else.

I lovvvvvvvvve the way it looks but I would want to do black with some crazy color and that doesn't look professional in the workplace :(

I did it! Got it roughly 2/3s dyed a pinky red in September (and then I had a hair cut so only 2 inches or so of the colour was left) and its now faded to a more orangey red. Got to redo it soon, cos its faded a lot. I really wanted bright pink, but the hair dresser was like you'd have to redo it every week, or it would look rubbish.

i got it.. black hair on top, caramel/light brown on the bottom. I love it, suits me and my personality.

I used to have black on top and do a different demi permanent color on the ends every other week. The color would fade, and I would apply a new one before showering to get a different look for the next 1-2 weeks. It was cute but now I can't play with my hair too much because I have to be professional. Hence, I got the tips cut off. :(

I tried red, violet, pink, green, and blue. My favorite was the pink. :)

Got it done few months back and love it. I didnt want something too drastic so went ahead and got a caramelish color from mid to bottom in streaks (not full).

I love when I do a top bun and the bun is a slightly different color (I know weird)..

Yeah its kinda over now. I did a subtle version of medium brown in my dark black hair.

I really want to do it, but I'm waiting for my hair to grow out again. Got it cut short 5 months ago, really short. Above shoulder short. lol

the ombre do is becoming a bit outdated, kinda 2011. but i think it looks gorgeous when done correctly. try for a softer ombre nothing too dramatic. that could still work! or option two- balayage highlights!

I had balayage highlights and everyone loved it because it wasn't too drastic.

who cares if it's out of fashion.. do what suits you and what you're comfortable with
