I’m really digging the new Ombre Hair Color that is in fashion now, basically its just hair that is colored on the bottom half of your hair, so it looks like your highlights/hair color just grew out…therefore it’s lighter on the bottom and darker on the top…
I really like it and think it’s so much better than getting highlights or getting your hair colored, because you don’t have to worry about getting touchups done, you can pretty much get it done once and not ever worry about getting a touch up if you don’t want…
I made an appointment this week to get it done, I’m super excited! I always liked my dark hair but wanted highlights for so long but never had the guts to get it done…I think this is the perfect way to keep my dark hair and go lighter..I’m gonna do it similar to the 3rd picture…
Anyways what do you guys think of the Ombre Hair??? Like it or No??
It's funny how fashion turns a bad thing into good. Grown out hair colour is now Ombre hair? I don't know whether I like it or not. haha..What if it was the other way around? Light on top and dark at the bottom.
I love ombre hair. Been wanting to get for the longest time. Maybe one of these days I'll gather the courage and go for it. Let us know how yours turn out:-)

i like it because naturally my hair is lighter at the ends due to sun exposure so that works yay me
also my cousin did red tips at the bottom her style is kinda funky and very young i like it… i don’t know if it’s ombre bc it’s obviously not a natural shade of red but i like the youthful look of it
I was just about to post a thread about this but I have been thinking about it also, the only thing is that I have curly hair so I know if I get the wrong shade it'll be sure to look like damaged hair.
This used to be in fashion a few years ago, I'm surprised it's come back. It looks better in natural colours though, I remember when there used to be girls with black hair and pink dipped style hair at the bottom!

Exactly, I prefer the affect of "hair going lighter as you go towards the tips" as opposed to "dipped in wacky color on purpose".
